In a significant bust last night, Seattle police officers made narcotics arrests that led to the recovery of illegal drugs, a substantial sum of money, and a firearm reported stolen. Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, downtown on 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, officers observed a transaction that turned out to be a hand-to-hand drug deal, according to the Seattle Police Department Blotter.
The Seattle Police Department report indicated that after making a drug sale, a suspect “smoking the suspected white powdered narcotics.” When a second man joined the original pair, the group drew the attention of police and attempted to vacate the scene, resulting in a chase and a subsequent struggle before arrest. Among the items retrieved by officers were over 40 doses of Fentanyl, Crystal Methamphetamine, Xanax pills, more than $460 in cash, and a loaded, stolen handgun.
As a result of the arrest, Seattle Police Department have requested a range of six felony charges against two of the individuals implicated in the incident.
