The Bellevue School District is selling off a chunk of land to a home builder to help fix its budget crisis.
The undeveloped land in the Westwood Highlands neighborhood, where not everyone is on board with the $30 million plan to build single-family homes.
Following the district board sign-off on Thursday, Bellevue schools are entering into an agreement to sell off the wooded property to Tri Pointe Homes.
