A DUI pursuit that began in North Bend on Friday, August 1, led to the arrest by Snoqualmie Police of a suspect from Pierce County and the recovery of narcotics, cash, and a stolen firearm.
The incident started on Main Avenue South in North Bend when officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle. The suspect fled, and the pursuit continued onto I-90 before ending on SR 900 in Issaquah, shortly after the vehicle exited the freeway.
With assistance from the Issaquah Police Department and Washington State Patrol, Snoqualmie officers deployed spike strips in an attempt to stop the vehicle. Both agencies also provided support at the scene and during the follow-up investigation. Additionally, the Issaquah Dispatch Communications Center played a key role by relaying information between officers and partner agencies throughout the incident.
