Man shot and killed by officer during Bellevue airsoft rifle incident identified

BELLEVUE, Wash. — The man shot and killed by Bellevue police during a SWAT standoff last week has been identified.

In a Monday release, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office named Patrick Sathyanathan, 60, as the suspect shot by an officer during an Aug. 7 incident.
