Prisoner Escapes Custody At Washington’s Sea-Tac Airport

Washington state authorities are searching for a prisoner who escaped custody while he was being transported through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Tuesday evening.

The Washington State Department of Corrections said corrections officers and local law enforcement are searching for 20-year-old John Nino, who fled while he was being escorted at the airport at around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Nino was on community supervision for second-degree robbery when he failed to report to his community corrections officer, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested in New Mexico and was being returned to Washington when he escaped custody…
