Lynnwood man arrested for child exploitation crimes after two-year probe

LYNNWOOD—On Lynnwood Detectives and Special Operations Section Officers on August 13, 2025, arrested Fox Curtis Fitzpatrick, 25, for Dealing in and Possession of Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct—both Class B felonies—and Carrying a Concealed Pistol without a Permit—a misdemeanor.

The arrest stemmed from numerous National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTips detailing over 50 uploads of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) over a period of two years. The CyberTip was forwarded to the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) who provided the information to the Lynnwood Police Department, an ICAC partner agency.

When Fitzpatrick was arrested at his place of employment, he had a firearm concealed on his person without a permit.

A search warrant executed in Fitzpatrick’s residence, with the assistance of ICAC partner agencies Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and King County Sheriff’s Office, seized digital devices and two additional firearms…
