SEATTLE — The last outstanding suspect in a series of armed robberies that terrorized dozens of convenience stores in the Seattle area is now behind bars, police announced. The suspect, who was 17 at the time of the crimes, is now an adult and faces 10 felony charges for armed robbery. Other members of the alleged group have been in custody for nearly a year.
“They would find convenience stores that had multiple people in them and then hold everyone in the store at gunpoint, demanding purses, wallets, and phones,” said a detective with the robbery division of the Seattle Police Department.
