Burien Police arrest 13-year-old linked to more than 20 felonies across King County

Burien Police say a 13-year-old boy tied to more than 20 felony crimes across King County was arrested this week following a coordinated investigation involving multiple law enforcement teams.

Police said the teen is accused of:

  • Eluding multiple law enforcement agencies in stolen vehicles
  • Larcenies where he used a fire extinguisher to spray victims while escaping
  • Burglaries committed throughout King County

Detectives from Burien’s Criminal Investigative Division, Precinct 4 CID and the Burien Crime Reduction Unit tracked the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident this week.

“We want to recognize the dedication and teamwork of our detectives and partner agencies in bringing this case to a close,” police said in a statement. “Their persistence has helped put an end to a dangerous crime spree that impacted many in our community.”…
