A violent incident occurred in the Green Lake area on Monday night when a man was stabbed under an overpass, Seattle police report. The event took place near Weedin Place Northeast and Northeast 68th Street, at approximately 9:43 p.m. According to SPD Blotter, officers discovered an adult male victim with severe injuries to his neck and arm upon their arrival.
Upon responding to the scene, Seattle Police administered initial medical aid until the Seattle Fire Department medics assumed control. Subsequently, the injured man was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. The assailant had left the area before law enforcement’s arrival and, as per the latest updates, remains unidentified and at large.
Detectives from the Homicide and Assault Unit are leading the investigation into the stabbing.
