A 31-year-old Kent man was arrested Friday night, Aug. 22, 2025 after Washington State Patrol (WSP) and Kent Police officers worked together to stop a high-speed pursuit that wound through the city.
Troopers said the suspect was driving a 2022 Camaro at speeds over 100 mph on SR 167 before entering Kent in an attempt to evade officers.
Police said the suspect repeatedly tried to hide in parking lots, but was tracked each time by WSP’s airplane, “Smokey,” which relayed his movements to ground units…
