Last night, in a proactive move sparked by local concerns, Seattle police officers made two arrests related to narcotics in the downtown area of the city. During the bust, which took place near 3rd Avenue and Pine Street, they seized a substantial amount of drugs, a modest sum of money, and receipts for international wire transfers. According to a report by the Seattle Police Department, the operation began at around 9:00 p.m. following community reports of suspicious activity.
Upon observing probable cause for a narcotics violation, officers apprehended a man, whose interview led them to a second suspect. Completing their operation in haste, police caught and arrested the second individual shortly after developing probable cause for his involvement. The Seattle Police Department blotter documented that officers recovered 146.1 grams of Fentanyl, $47 in cash, various cell phones, and receipts indicating wire transfers to Honduras during the bust.
