Texas woman sentenced to 6 years in prison for church arson in Snohomish County

SEATTLE — A woman from Temple, Texas, was sentenced to six years in prison for the arson that destroyed the Seattle Laestadian Lutheran Church in Snohomish County, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said Thursday.

Natasha Marie O’Dell, 38, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Seattle after pleading guilty to arson, damage to religious property, and obstruction of persons in the free exercise of religious beliefs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
