A Lacey man was arrested on Sept. 5 in Bremerton after he showed up to an active police scene pretending to be an off-duty Edmonds police detective.
According to a social media post from the Bremerton Police Department, the 49-year-old Lacey man was arrested at 6:30 a.m. last Friday the 800 block of Sixth Street in Bremerton. He had arrived at the active police scene in an unmarked Ford Explorer with activated blue police lights.
