Mariners push for limits on street preachers’ amplified noise outside T-Mobile Park

A lawyer for the Mariners said that the club was “working with the Seattle City Council on a yet-to-be-finalized proposal that would limit loudspeakers before and after events” at T-Mobile Park, according to Freeman & Gutman of the SEATTLE TIMES. This comes as street preachers have become the “soundtrack of the Mariners pregame experience,” which the club does “not like.” The street preachers “perch outside the left-field gate” of T-Mobile Park with “handheld loudspeakers at near-ear-splitting decibels to anyone who will listen and many more who would rather not.”…..
