BOTHELL, Wash. — Friends and family of Mallory Barbour, 27, of Bothell, are searching for answers after her remains were discovered in a wooded area of Mason County months after she was reported missing.
Barbour was last seen leaving her home in Bothell on June 24, and her remains were later found the morning of Sept. 15 near State Route 3 and Pickering Road. The Mason County Coroner confirmed that it appeared Barbour had been dead for months and had been shot multiple times.
“Mallory was amazing, Mallory was so full of love and life, she’s just the last person that deserved to have this happen to her,” Ashley Ainge, who’s known Barbour for years. Said. “Even when things got hard, she had the best attitude ever, always the life of the party.”…
