Seattle Woman Sentenced for Felony DUI in Clallam County

PORT ANGELES — A Seattle woman has been sentenced to more than a year in prison after pleading guilty to felony DUI in Clallam County Superior Court.

Judge Brent Basden handed down the sentence for Engre Brown, who will serve 12-plus months in prison, followed by a year of community custody with mandatory substance use treatment and a driving prohibition.

According to court records, on May 11, a Washington State Patrol Trooper spotted Brown driving about 100 miles per hour on Highway 101 near Carlsborg. He later contacted her at the Highway 101 and Carlsborg Road intersection, where she showed signs of impairment and had a can of White Claw hard seltzer in her vehicle.
