A passenger on a Seattle light rail shared a harrowing experience on social media, urging fellow commuters to stay vigilant and aware of their surroundings. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 24, when the passenger boarded the light rail at around 8am to head downtown for work. The passenger described a man acting erratically, punching a window, and making her feel uncomfortable by repeatedly sitting next to her and asking personal questions. Despite her fear, no one intervened or offered assistance. The passenger managed to escape the situation by getting off at a stop where transit security was visible, and then boarding the next light rail.
