Man stabbed multiple times after fight near Pioneer Square garage

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a 24-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds during a fight near the Sinking Ship Garage in Pioneer Square early Saturday morning.

Officers initially responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Second Avenue around 4:30 a.m. A large crowd was leaving the area, but no witnesses reported hearing gunfire and no shell casings were found.

Hours later, the victim arrived at Harborview Medical Center with eight stab wounds — four to his back, three to his scalp, one to his rib cage, and one to his right arm. His injuries are serious but non-life-threatening…
