A 39-year-old man from Allyn was killed, and two others were injured and lifeflighted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following a two-vehicle collision on the Hood Canal Bridge Nov. 7, per Washington State Patrol.
A 2006 Toyota Tacoma, in which the deceased was a passenger, was heading eastbound on the bridge before it crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class heading in the other direction, per a WSP memo. The driver of the Tacoma, a 28-year-old woman from Bremerton, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with injuries, along with the driver of the Mercedes, an 83-year-old man from Port Ludlow.
