Man charged in 2015 Belltown homicide after DNA evidence brings breakthrough

SEATTLE — A 38-year-old man was charged Thursday for a 2015 homicide inside a Belltown apartment.

Clay C. Fosse was charged with second-degree murder for the February 2015 death of a man in Belltown. He’s currently in custody with the New Mexico Department of Corrections for 2024 convictions of aggravated battery and larceny.

This marks the second cold case referred to King County prosecutors this week. A suspect in the death of Tanya Frazier was arrested after Seattle police were able to link the man to the crime using DNA technology…
