On November 20, 2025, Seattle police arrested a 30-year-old man in the Chinatown-International District at 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Officers on foot patrol saw the man using what they believed to be Fentanyl. They found he had a $1,000 warrant for his arrest. Police recovered baggies of suspected Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia during the arrest.
The man, who has previous felony convictions and is under Department of Corrections supervision, was booked into King County Jail. Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are now handling the case. The High Utilizer Initiative, managed by the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, focuses on people who repeatedly commit misdemeanor crimes.
