SEATTLE — A man arrested at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport earlier this month is now accused of spitting on a police officer during a struggle at a TSA checkpoint, according to a probable cause document filed in King County Superior Court.
According to the documents, Port of Seattle police officers were called to TSA Checkpoint 3 around 5:56 p.m. on Nov. 7 for reports of an intoxicated man harassing women in the screening area. When officers arrived, they were told the man had tried to push through another checkpoint and was acting aggressively toward passengers.
The man reportedly smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes, according to the officer who wrote the report. The officer also said that the man displayed signs that were consistent with intoxication. The man told officers he was a ticketed Alaska Airlines passenger heading to California for treatment…
