Feud over speeding leads to shot fired at neighbor, charges filed

KENT, Wash. — A long-standing feud between neighbors over speeding escalated into gunfire last month.

Cynthia Stierle was charged with second-degree assault on Monday for an incident on Nov. 24 in the Kent area of unincorporated King County.

Stierle is accused of firing a handgun at her neighbor. The neighbor told deputies that Stierle had a history of complaints about her driving speed. No one was hurt…
