On December 2, 2025, Seattle police arrested a 33-year-old man near Smith Tower in downtown Seattle. Officers found him in a restricted alley behind the 500 block of Yesler Way. He had a knife, a hatchet, methamphetamine, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
