Seattle rapist sentenced after previously being released by mistake

SEATTLE — A rapist who had previously been released from custody by mistake after his conviction was sentenced to 16 years in prison at a hearing on Friday afternoon.

Noel Stepney, 50, was belligerent during the hearing, flipping off a KOMO News camera and saying slurs to the court staff.
