KING COUNTY, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a King County Sheriff’s Office employee hit and killed a pedestrian early Tuesday morning, the Monroe Police Department reports.
Monroe officers responded to the scene just after 6:30 a.m., where A 26-year-old woman had been struck by an unmarked King County Sheriff’s Office vehicle in the westbound lanes of US-2 near the 18800 block. The woman was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
