Mayor-elect Wilson holds first transition meeting, stops short of endorsing SPD Chief

SEATTLE — Seattle’s Mayor-elect Katie Wilson held her first transition team meeting and also revealed that changes are coming to Seattle City Hall, with some department heads not being retained.

That is nothing new and happens with new leadership. New King County Executive Girmay Zahilay already alerted long-term employees that they would not be retained.
