Seattle Police Respond to Hate Crime, Armed Robbery, and Domestic Disturbance in Recent Incidents

On December 9, 2025, Seattle police responded to multiple incidents in the city. Shortly after midnight, two people were subjected to a slur and spit on by a suspect as they left an Uber. The suspect was arrested for a hate crime and later assaulted an officer during transport to King County Jail. Police made bias notifications after the incident.
