Seattle police have apprehended a 27-year-old man, previously convicted seven times, following a disturbance in Pioneer Square. This arrest stemmed from a skirmish that occurred near a hot dog stand in the early hours of Sunday morning, as reported by the Seattle Police Department Blotter. Patrol officers were called to the scene around 1:50 a.m. on Dec. 14 after reports of a physical fight at 2nd Avenue South and South Jackson Street.
Upon dispersing the fracas, officers noticed an individual, who was armed during the fight, fleeing the scene. Running from authorities, a second man was spotted by officers hiding a firearm underneath a truck tire. The police acted swiftly and detained him shortly after he attempted to escape.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, is no stranger to law enforcement, with a record that includes firearms offenses and evading arrest.
