SEATTLE — A California man who operated fraudulent call centers preying on distressed homeowners has been sentenced to ten years in prison, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Mohammed Zafaranchi, 43, also known as ‘Mike,’ was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Seattle after being convicted on twelve federal charges, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and obstruction of justice, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
