LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The people behind the Lynnwood Hygiene Center are celebrating what they call a holiday miracle.
While the center was on the brink of closing before the end of this year, TV host and travel writer Rick Steves stepped in to help keep the doors open.
Steves bought the property for $2.25 million, vowing to keep the space that provides free, warm showers and food and clothing, all via donations, open to mostly homeless people in the area…
