King County Sheriff’s Office Thwarts Sinaloa Cartel Network in “Operation Eastbound and Down – The Last Chapter”

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking in King County, the Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team (SET) concluded a major narcotics investigation targeting a network connected to the notorious Sinaloa Cartel. Dubbed “Operation Eastbound and Down – The Last Chapter,” this investigation followed the original Operation Eastbound and Down that began in November 2025.

Details released by the Burien Police Department revealed that the SET’s month-long investigative efforts zeroed in on a Lynnwood-based regional supplier responsible for circulating a large volume of drugs across multiple counties, including King, Snohomish, and Skagit. The successful apprehension was aided by K9 Quinn, whose assistance led to the acquirement of a search warrant with probable cause, culminating in substantial drug seizures and arrests.
