Holiday crowds return to downtown Seattle as shoppers, families gather for Christmas

SEATTLE — Downtown Seattle drew last-minute holiday shoppers in the countdown to Christmas as crowds gathered around seasonal displays and decorations.

Families strolled through the city center and told KOMO News that they enjoyed the atmosphere of people smiling, greeting one another, and spending time together.
