A suspect is in custody after allegedly shoving a Washington State Patrol trooper and stealing her patrol vehicle on Christmas Day, authorities said.
The Washington State Patrol said a lieutenant responded to a report of a pedestrian on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood at around 11:45 a.m. Thursday. When the lieutenant contacted the pedestrian, they allegedly “pushed her down and stole the patrol vehicle,” according to WSP public information officer Trooper Rick Johnson.
