Seattle Area Rocked by Family Murder-Suicide Spanning Two Locations Amid Custody Dispute

A tragic narrative unfolded last month, as police investigations into multiple deaths within a family concluded that a man killed his family members before taking his own life in the Seattle area. Mercer Island Police Department, as reported by FOX 13 Seattle, stated that upon conducting a welfare check on Tuesday, the bodies of Danielle Cuvillier and her son Mackenzie “Mack” Williams were discovered. The deaths appeared to be a result of a homicide followed by suicide, an occurrence shockingly close to home for neighbor Frank Ceteznik, who described Danielle as a “really nice lady.”

Continuing the investigation, authorities then made a second grim discovery at another residence in Issaquah. KING 5 reported that the individuals found were Harmony Danner, Williams’ wife, and Dominick “Nick” Cuvillier, Williams’ disabled younger brother. KING 5 further discovered from multiple sources that the police believe Williams was responsible for the murders at both locations before turning the gun on himself. An email sent by Williams hours before the findings hinted at the events to unfold, stating, “It may require you to go into my house and see some things that you would prefer not to.”

Behind these horrific events lies a familial dispute over custody. Custody battle records obtained by KING 5 show that a year-long legal fight involved the care of Nick, who suffered from Angelman syndrome and required constant assistance.
