Earlier this morning, a tragic multi-vehicle collision occurred on the 10000 block of 19th Avenue SE, with Snohomish County 911 being alerted of the incident at around 11:24 a.m. Reports indicated a vehicle rollover, entrapping three individuals, and another vehicle catching fire.
Despite initial accounts of an active blaze, Everett Fire units met with no fire upon their arrival, promptly addressed the accident alongside Everett Police officers. Upgrading the situation to a Multiple Casualty Incident ensured additional support was promptly enlisted to the scene, including mutual aid from South County Fire and assistance from Northwest Ambulance.
As reported by the City of Everett’s official news release, two senior occupants of the vehicle that rolled over, a male and female in their late 80s, were pronounced dead at the site.
