Two Men Injured in Early Morning Stabbing During Robbery at Seattle’s Freeway Park

Early Wednesday morning, in what began as an ordinary start to the day in the First Hill neighborhood, is now the scene of a violent robbery that has left two men wounded. The incident, confirmed by SPD Blotter, occurred in Freeway Park under an overpass near University Street and Hubbell Place, where, at approximately 6:30 a.m., two individuals were subjected to a stabbing during what witnesses have described as a robbery carried out by three assailants dressed in black. SPD Blotter reports the victims, men aged 35 and 38, were found by officers who promptly provided aid until the Seattle Fire Department medics arrived.

The Seattle Police Department’s swift response led to the victims being swiftly transported to Harborview Medical Center, each suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Despite the immediate investigation and the inclusion of a K9 Unit, the suspects were not located in the aftermath of the stabbing.

A cordon was established as part of the crime scene protocol to secure the area and gather evidence.
