Former Yakima Resident Gets 32 Years in Kirkland Attack

A 49-year-old former Yakima resident who was charged with the murder of three people in Yakima in 2011 has been sentenced to more than 32-years in prison for a near fatal stabbing of a woman at a Kirkland home in 2019.

WORKING AS A PLUMBER WHEN THE STABBING HAPPENED

Police say Kevin Harper from Arlington was working as a plumber when he stabbed the woman at her Kirkland home. Harper was arrested for attempted murder, robbery and attempted kidnapping. He was sentenced in the case on Friday after pleading guilty to the crimes.
