Teen boys released to parents after pointing fake gun at people in Redmond public park

REDMOND, Wash. — A tense situation unfolded in downtown Redmond Tuesday night when police responded to reports of teenagers brandishing guns in public.

Around 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 8000 block of 161st Ave NE after a caller reported seeing three teenage boys in ski masks and dark clothing pointing what appeared to be guns at people and vehicles in the bustling area.
