After nearly a decade of late nights, neon lights, and seriously good eats, the Hangar 30 Night Markets at Magnuson Park are getting ready to take their final bow. This Saturday’s Lunar New Year Night Market will be the last time the beloved event series takes over the massive Hangar 30 space, closing out a nine-year run that helped define Seattle’s modern night market scene.
Since launching, the Hangar 30 Night Markets have hosted more than 80 events, usually as ticketed, 21+ evenings packed with food trucks, craft vendors, live music, cocktails, and unexpected cultural entertainment. Depending on the night, that could mean luchador wrestlers, Chinese lion dances, or other high-energy performances mixed in with your bao and bubble tea.
