Guests are complaining about an unknown fee on their restaurant bill, warning others to be aware.
A photo is going viral of a receipt from the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, Washington, showcasing an added charge that the diners weren’t expecting. The Facebook account Elm Streethouse posted the photo, saying the fee added an extra $15 to their bill.
This isn’t the only few diners have to worry about. Beginning Jan. 1, eateries and retailers across Washington are imposing increased costs for the plastic bags used to transport food home, urging patrons to bring their own containers.
