Welfare concerns after reported death prompt removal of 11 children from King County home

KING COUNTY, Wash. — Eleven children were taken into protective custody Friday after deputies investigating a death at a King County home raised concerns about their welfare, authorities said.

According to a King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, deputies first responded to the residence at 10:49 p.m. on Thursday for a reported death.
