MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. — Ten children were placed in protective custody after King County sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported death at a Maple Valley home and found what officials described as deplorable living conditions.
The home is along Southeast 200th Street in Maple Valley. Deputies were called there on Thursday night, where a 47-year-old woman was found dead.
