MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. — The Maple Valley property at the center of a death investigation and child welfare case had been the subject of “numerous calls” from neighbors, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
However, the sheriff’s office said prior to last week, authorities had not known there were young children in the home.
