SEATTLE — A joint state and federal defense team says it spotted at least 30 unauthorized drones in the sky over the Seahawks championship parade last Wednesday and is pursuing charges against a pilot who flew an aircraft into a packed Lumen Field.
The King County Ground Intercept Team, as it is called, interrupted eight drone flights and was able to contact seven of the pilots, according to a King County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.
