Western WA snow update: Light snow flurries fall in Sultan, Bellevue Thursday morning

A day after the Granite Falls School District closed its campuses due to overnight snow, snow has been spotted falling in Sultan.

The snow isn’t sticking to the ground, but was falling as late as 11:30 a.m. According to KIRO 7 meteorologist Nick Allard, snow is also falling in Bellevue, Issaquah, and Newcastle.

We’re starting to see some light snow near Bellevue! ❄️ Remember: – Drive for conditions – Leave extra traveling room – Use your lights – Give yourself extra time – Don’t crowd the plow! If you see our snowplows in action, do not pass unless it is safe to do so. pic.twitter.com/lgXTKxtpbI…
