Evergreen Goodwill Debuts Remodeled Renton Store, New Community Classroom

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington celebrated on Friday the grand reopening of its remodeled Renton store, plus the addition of a new on-site community classroom offering Goodwill’s tuition-free adult education.

The Renton Goodwill first opened in 2004 and has served as a retail destination and donation drop-off hub, welcoming 414,000 shoppers and 92,000 donors in the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2025, according to a news release from Evergreen Goodwill. The Seattle-based nonprofit operates in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, Skagit, and Whatcom counties.

A 3,000-square-foot extension to the processing area in Renton significantly increases the 28,577-square-foot store’s processing capacity, enabling faster intake, improved workflows, and a better work environment for the 50 Goodwill employees there, the release said.
