Iran demonstrators say a man pointed a gun at them

BELLEVUE, Wash. — The Bellevue Police Department is investigating a report that a man brandished a firearm toward people demonstrating Sunday afternoon at Bellevue Downtown Park in support of the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

“There is, of course, anxiety and heightened attention,” said Saghar Amini, one of the demonstrators. “It was terrifying.”

Amini said she was dancing on the sidewalk, celebrating with hundreds of people who had just finished caravanning down the interstate waving American, Israeli, and Iranian flags, when she heard someone yelling from a car stopped at a light. She pulled out her phone and began filming…
