Man allegedly curb-stomped mother after argument about school, finances

KING COUNTY, Wash. (TCN) — A 61-year-old woman was found deceased in a condominium and her son has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with her death.

KOMO reports deputies with the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Feb. 24 after a caller told 911 dispatchers he had returned home and discovered Thuy Nu Thu Ton unresponsive on the floor. When deputies arrived, they found Ton’s eyes swollen and blood coming out of her nose. Lifesaving measures were attempted but Ton was pronounced dead at the scene.

KING reports that the King County Medical Examiner listed Ton’s manner of death as homicide and her cause of death as due to multiple blunt force injuries…
