Seattle area braces for nearly two weeks of rain starting Friday

Enjoy the dry afternoon, because rain is abound for the next two weeks throughout the Puget Sound region.

By Thursday night, there is a 60% chance of rain, according to The Weather Channel. Light rain is expected to hit the region early morning Friday, with 11 of the following 13 days having a 55% or higher chance of rain. The only reprieve from rain could happen on Saturday, March 7, and Tuesday, March 10. An uptick of rain is expected to begin this Sunday.
